Sounds as though we are dictating the game with lots of pressure.

If only our manager would get a f***ing striker then maybe the pressure wouldn't be put on the defence to keep us in games!

I despair at times!

Will somebody tell 'em that the best form of defence is attack.

Sorry but if you go 2-0 against this powder puff Morecambe side, it's game over.
How many of the current Morecambe side will be hurting tonight?

Lack of passion or lack of ability? Or (as it sounds) because we tried to keep it 0-0, then attacked Lincoln once we were 2-0 down? Or just plain unlucky and low on confidence? A keeper on top form and 'just one of those days'?

Regardless, the reality is that only three teams in the bottom half of the table lost today, Stevenage, us and bottom placed Barnet. If the clubs below us win their games in hand, we will be third from bottom. Relegation scrap, hope we've got the stomach for it...

Lack of a striker i would say, a lot of times this season we have failed to pick up three points when playing well because we just cant put away the chances, i believe the loan window opens on Monday, it will be difficult but we need to find a striker who can hit the back of the net on a regular basis.

Just spoke to my son who was at the game and apparently we had the chances but didn't put them away, dominated the second half.

It may be regarded by some as being desperate, but I'd take DC at this stage. At least we know he has pace and puts an opponents back line under pressure..assuming that the manager allows him to play unshackled.

Although the first half was dire, for the last 30 mins we pegged them back and created many chances including hitting the bar and going 2 yards wide on 4 or 5 occasions and should really have put at least one of those away. As for sideways Stanley I think its more sideways everybody imo

Does any Morecambe fan think we will win any of our next 4 games?

Northampton A certain loss

Oxford H draw against a play-off chasing Oxford side will be a good result

Chesterfield A we will be lucky to get 0

Macclesfield A bore draw again

Incredible stats:

Shots on target: 4 for them 7 for us
Shots off target: 3 v 11
Corners: 0 v 9

To me it's obvious where are problems are!

We had 9 corners! I think we need Jim Bentley in the team so he can come up and smash headers into the net!

I went wish I hadn't bothered, same old crap. Why is it that we dont start playing until the game is lost.
1st half we looked not interested at all, clueless.
2nd half improved had a few chances, but the game was over at half time.
Was down to go to Chesterfield and Macclesfield but not going to bother now.
