Hopefully now one of the "fringe" wingers will step up and show their worth. Please... :?

Sad to see him go but suppose you can't stand in a players way when a club from 2 leagues higher comes in. Good luck Mark.

Yeah good luck to the lad. Can't see us "replacing" him at this stage of the season. We may well spand the money on a lean-to and BBQ area for the MBW stand :o

It will be known as "Duffy's Delicatessan"

lets hope gary comes back to us on loan or we sign as equally good player, for me this shows total lack of ambition, I personally thought the club wanted to move forwards, if we keep letting our better players leave that will never happen.

Don't be so narrow minded TGG, we can't stop players moving up 2 divisions especially when they only have 5 months left on their contracts. It's nothing to do with lack of ambition, which the club has plenty of.

When a bigger club (or company) want you or one of your assets and are offering good money then you take it.

If a multi national distribution company decided to buy you out (or even Northern Print Distribution ;) ) you'd take the money....wouldn't you?

Don't forget that as well as the undisclosed fee (which we would not get if Duffy went in the summer), he will also be off our wage bill for the remainder of his contract which should help somewhat.

Your all probable right but it is just depressing seeing our good players leaving...we seem to be in the habit of it and to be honest we never get the right money for these player we usually allow them to go for less than there worth.

and neil it all depended on how much I was offered to be honest!!!

Good look to the lad. He will definetley be getting games for Scummy, hope he does well for them!

Shame he didn't have longer on his contract and that he didn't have a better shot on him. We would have got a hell of alot more money for him!

Scunny play Burnley Saturday tea time so we can watch him live on SKY after the Stevenage game, warming the bench no doubt.

Hope for his sake the move has'nt come to soon as I can't see him whizzing past the left backs of Q.P.R., Ipswich, Notts. Forest, Leeds, Norwich, Millwall and the like in the same fashion just yet.

Although his saving grace will be that he will probably end up in League 1 next season anyway and progress more naturally.

Very disappointing, just as things were picking up as well. Good luck and all the best Mark, really enjoyed watching you play.

Cant see us getting anyone in before the end of the transfer window, we can but hope.

The bookies must rate him anyway as he is only 4/1 to score against Burnley :o

Same odds as Paul Mullin and he's a striker!
