you mean 4 5 1? keep the formation as it is 4 4 1 1 `

let him have a shot in there giving us that extra protection against the oppostion running at our back four whats been our main problem with conceding goals lately

Not sure what I mean really DawZi, 4-5-1 or 5-4-1 or 4-4-2 or 4-1-4-1 or your interpretation 4-4-1-1 (head spinning now and it isn't the G&T :? ) Scott would obviously protect the defence, yet the early season system of 1 up front with little support was dismal, and we still conceded plenty of goals.

He means still play 4-4-2, but bring Scott in central midfield. Not rocket science!
