He is still playing but is less than slim!!
He earned the nickname "Crispy Sheets" with us on the North Stand as he was still a spotty teenager when signed from Burnley.
My cod theory (FWIW) with Eastwood, he came on trial and scored bags of goals in the friendlies only weeks after being released by Burnley and three years of full time training.
We were only part time at the time, and training twice a week instead of every day didnt do his fitness any good, and according to insiders at the time, he liked a night out and a curry.
He quickly lost that the sharpness and yard of pace which got him signed, and by the new year of that season he was a shadow of the player we signed in August.
Still had a good touch, but!!!!
Robbie Talbot was something special, quick, great touch and a lethal finisher until Hereford (? some cloggers?, someone will remember, Posh?) kicked him out of the game, he was injured for quite a while and whatever had happened he lost a yard and his confidence, bloody shame though!
Frisnit Frisnit!!
