Definitely felt it, yes.

My daughter went up to bed around half ten but came back downstairs around 10.50 ish saying she had heard a load of noise and the "bed shook." Went upstairs with her to check everything out and we put it down to her nodding off to sleep and dreaming a bit perhaps. I started to feel a bit nauseus at the same time though strangely. I thought no more about it, putting it down to the McCrap I had had for tea !!

Everything explained on Radio Lancs this morning though !! Epicentre was in Coniston I believe, and tremor was also felt in the Isle Of Man no less !!!

There was another one last night in Ripon. They say they only happen once a year. That is 2 in 2 weeks although they were both in different years I suppose

Back in the mid 90's I was on a fishing trip with a mate John, about 8.45pm just dozing off in the tent and I heard this huge noise like a 4wd bearing down on us. I jumped out of the tent with my torch to tell them to be careful and it was silent, nothing at all.
Switched on the radio and had a brandy. About half an hour later listening to ABC Radio the reports were about an earthquake 5 kms from where we were.
On a more positive note that was the weekend we bagged 22 Rainbow and 6 Brown trout.
