o/t New Year Resolutions, Thoughts, Hopes and Fears

4. We will beat Accrington Stanley this decade
5. We WILL beat Stockport tomorrow
6. The glass is still half full but it seems to have a leak
7. When we got promoted we were the surprise package, we have now been found out and everyone else now knows how to play against us
8. Our League position reflects where I personally expected to be when we gained promotion. 9. Therefore I believe our "over" achievement in the last few seasons has spoiled us
10. Our new home WILL in time be our fortress and will provide the services that each and every one of us wish for.

And there endeth the first lesson. No doubt I will ignore 1 and 2 tomorrow but No.5 really needs to happen

I reckon a decade can start and finish anytime, so long as it lasts a full 10 years.
But when we are dividing a century into 10 decades I think that the current decade began on
1 January 2010 and ends on 31 December 2019. Some will argue though, that the dates should be 1 January 2011 and 31 December 2020.

Well,based on the Sounds of the 60s programme on Saturday mornings, 1960 IS in the Sixties, and Johnnie Walker says that 1970 IS in the Seventies on Sunday afternoons, so 2000 must be the first year of the Noughties as they are called, so 2010 must be the first year of the new decade, which will be called?? the Teenies??
