Just been to watch a team with no passion whatsoever, what is wrong with Jimbo playing let alone coaching. He came back from injury and 4 clean sheets out of 5 scored against stockport 5-0 if i remember and then got dropped. At least he playes with his heart on his sleeve, more than i can say about most of them that played today.Sorry rant over.

Looked totally pissed off standing alone in front of Block C.

Wonder what he really thinks of the situation?

A standard Ockers response. Will you ever take your rose tinted specs off? As CC says, are you allowed to give your real opinion?

What did you think of the game today? Come on Ockers. If we do not win on Monday he will be sacked or he will walk, how many times has he done that this season?

Sammy and the team have unfortunately been substandard this season, however we shouldn't be making rash decisions when we presumably don't have any alternatives. It's all well and good talking about Paul Jewell and Paul Trollope, but would they realistically come to us and especially at the kind of wages we'd pay?

Back him for the time being, and get Jimbo as up to speed as possible to hopefully become the next MFC manager.

Back to the same old, can we afford to pay him off argument, answer, no, we could use our transfer kitty and then get in an unemployed miracle worker to turn our sows ear of a team into a silk purse with a low wage to tempt them

Remind me.....!

More to the point, give us your thoughts after todays pathetic showing or are you unable to do so because of your position?

AND

How many similar goals has Ryan scored against us? It's not as if we didn't know of what he's capable!

Our only game plan appeared to be 'pump the ball up in the air to Mullers....' pathetic!

Re Port Vale you tell me Neil?

jimmy ryans goal looked like it took a deflection

i was very surprised after th eport vale performance bu tthen weve had three weeks break and i think it told on the two sides thought accy defended very well today edwards in particular

that 6 wins out of the last7 for accrington in these encounters...sadly

thought it was a poor game to be honest but i thought it would end in a dull draw

see you at stockport otherwise you can hear what i think of that game on the bay mate ill be covering it with glen

It did but I was inline with it, and I dont think Barry would have got to it

Paul Jewell? Are you actually serious? PNE would be a drop down for him never mind us. I've heard it all now, most ridiculous thing i've ever heard in my life. Totally and utterly ludicrous. Get real. :?

We weren't great today no but sacking Sammy mid-season would do more harm than good. He deserves at least the end of the season and then see where we are. We will not be relegated, I guarantee it. We have to remember we just beat Port Vale who were top of the league, it shows we have the ability, we're just lacking in consistency. It will come good, don't stop believing ;) .

Oh no! Not bring back JH (that's desperate). Jimbo maybe but I think the other has had his moneysworth out of MFC ... and anyway I'm still waiting for him to pass us on the way up as we go down - his words, not mine ... (circa Nov. 06 after 1-1 draw @ home to FGR)

Once Sammy and players settle in their new home it should come good :D

If Sammy was given a game to save his job that one yesterday certainly wouldn't have been it, Accy are a better side than Morecambe end of!!! and their management team is also far superior to ours with a piss poor budget to work with,

Seems we've all be short changed somewhere down the line :?

I am seriously worried when he continually plays Hunter on the right side of midfield.

He had countless opportunities to cross good balls into the box only for them not to get past the first defender.

And yet he has 2 highly paid specialist wingers in Rundle and Shuker on the bench.

Have the new facilities gone to players' heads, and given them an aura of primo 'I've made it' status?
Perhaps there should be an alternative portakabin changing room/showers which could be used for the next game following an inept performance.
And go for 4-3-3.

Back him, but the ice is getting thinner by the game.

Play Jimbo. I said months ago, Jimbo may no longer be the best defender at the club but he is by far the only leader. Anyone going through the motions with him on the pitch is going to have him on their back. If he's, say, 10% less than the player he replaces but he brings out an extra 3% of every player on the pitch because of his leadership, then his value to the whole team is clear.

When we played Jimbo we got 4 out of 5 clean sheets. Says it all really?

Just signed a long contract at Acci. Besides, why do people think he'd want to leave Accrington? One of the most secure manager's jobs in English football. They could go down (not that I think they will) and he'd still be a god in east Lancashire. Yes he loves Morecambe but he's been at Stanley for longer than he was at Christie Park so he may actually love them too by now!

The current longest serving managers list. Nice to see Morecambe FC in the top 7

Why has Sammy got an England flag by his name? :?

Well that list would surely prove that sticking with the manager that you have through the difficult times usually pays off. The top seven have all had a good degree of success relative to their position in the football world.
