Just glad we hav'nt already set off for a change. Some clubs will not be able to pay the bills while they have no customers over this normally healthy period. Thank goodness for the income we have off the field.

Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!

Accy Stanley are looking at their THIRD home match in succession potentially being off.

And as we all know, them more than most, need the pounds shillings and pence.

For all its short comings in the eyes of a few, this is one reason why the move to The Globe was so fundamental to our clubs survival.

With forecasts that this winter will become the norm this financial arm now available to our club is something that other clubs not too far away will look on in envy as they struggle to pay both creditors and playing staff.

Stanley's match now definitely off too.

Quote from their website:

Crewe match off
The Boxing Day game with Crewe Alexandra has fallen victim to the weather.

A local referee inspected the pitch at the Crown Ground this afternoon, finding it to be frozen. A new date for the match will be announced shortly.

Don't forget half season tickets are still available, which as an added bonus will now also include the three recent postponed matches!

Anyone who HAS bought a half season ticket will be happy then !!
