Good stuff. Get him to the pub on the top of the hill for 12.30, I've got Phil Collins coming to give him some lessons 8-)

Frankie & bennys are doing a special deal with the cobblers for the game but as I have been on a staff party I can't understand it  http://www.smfserver.com/forums/thehote ... 316.0.html

Must warn you, there's a possibility they won't let you bring it in as our stewards have a habit of following these fucking pathetic health and safety rules to the book. Hope they let you though. They stopped Accrington bringing theirs in earlier this season. But those knuckle-draggers just smashed some chairs up with their fists instead. Not saying you would do that but hopefully the club have learned from that and will just let the next bunch of pissed-up Lancastrians bring their drum in.

By the way, if you can spare a quid (in the spirit of Christmas), please buy one of our 50/50 lottery tickets tomorrow, there's guys who volunteer for our club who've put a lot of effort and hours into getting it going in the last few weeks, there should be a special prize for away fans (normally some tat donated out of your club shop) and even a losing ticket is worth £2 off a Big Mac meal at the McDonalds on the Sixfields site, so everyone's a winner! ;)

Have a safe journey down, see you all tomorrow.

I'm about 10 miles west of Northampton and we've only had about an inch, just a dusting. Apparently they haven't had any at all at Sixfields (not that's settled, anyway) and the temperature was only just below 0 when I got out the car earlier, not the -10's that some parts of the country are getting. The fact they haven't even organised a pitch inspection speaks volumes. Unless something changes drastically, the game will be on.

OK having been put through slade, mud and the wombles about 3 times each I have been out to the car park and it is minus 7 but no extra snow yet. Can't decide how I feel yet in terms of optimism for the game to be on. If I was in the MFC car park with the same forecast I would say no chance BUT the cobblers reports are optimistic :?

I know some of you guys are travelling in the morning so if I am awake will give you a snow report hopefully before 9 . Over and out M

I have just watched the forecast and northants could well just miss the white stuff, trouble is you are going to have to set off before you know if the game is on or not
