At least on Thursday we can go to the game not worring about dropping into the bottom 2 and negative tactics. Hopefully a good turn out to 3,500 ticket sold so far so we could be looking at the 4,000+ mark.

Yes but it's still the same old sad old Globe experience of poor atmosphere, poor pies poor peas poor toilet facilities ...I agree with how Matty the Shrimp feels. :(

Will be a testing time for the stadium and staff this week making sure the pitch is playable, it will make Saturdays efforts look a walk in the park. What with the snow, ice, SKY tv, FA Officialdom and grumpy fans attending I hope it goes smoothly.

Presume we will receive FA and SKY money as hosts but will there be fines if the pitch and surroundings aren't usable?

More to the point will Uncle Ken's Box be out at half time?

With the snow falling this evening and the forecast for the next two or three days, it will be very unlikely that the game will be on come Thursday.

I would think there will be full programmes on sale. Albeit produced by the FA.

I recall when we had that England Ladies match at Christie there were full colour programmes produced for it.

Sincerely hope this game goes ahead, looking forward to it and sampling the PMG Stand for the first time. Might (emphasis on the might here) have a spare Junior Ticket for the now Sold Out Main Stand available as my son could have other commitments now.

Will post on here nearer the time if that is the case.

I see there are a few Arsenal youngsters that are no doubt like whippets, can we lock them away somewhere and keep them for the weekend?

Didn't realise Ken Swain was the Under 16 coach.

Ex Chelsea player and Crewe Alex manager of course.

Looking forward to this and going to try the away end out to see what it's like.

Will be good just to go and enjoy some football and will be an intresting experiment to see if I enjoy the Globe more due to the football been played.
