Could only dream of a childhood hero playing at the Globe. Would probably be as a visiting player but I for one would give him a standing ovation.

Come and join the League 2 party Robbie!

If he was only to play for a season or even less, the publicity and potentially an increase in gates would be worth the gamble, if in fact it would be a gamble at all.

Never been a big fan but if our club could capitalise out of such a move...why not?

I'd rather have somebody coming to the end of their career who genuinely loves the game than others who just want the weekly pay check.

I am a huge Robbie Fowler fan.

Grew up remembering him and Michael Owen the talent of them.

I knew Robbie was in Australia playing football and if he was to play another season or half a season ie from January I can imaging a few football league teams interested in him

And like anybody ever thought Ian Wright would sign for Burnley.

Or that Gazza would sign for Burnley. Or, even, Boston United.

Anything could happen in this game.

Last thing we need is another 30+ and slow striker.

Seasider I am 100% with you on this one.
