Official club website

Try logging on to the official club website of any league club (OK I've not tried all 92, but am talking about those that I have) and the background colour prior to opening up is always the team colour (i.e Man.Utd, red; Chelsea, blue etc). Can anybody explain then why Morecambe FC's is BLACK????? :o

Alter the club logo and it'll look superb on the black background.

Let's be different and not follow others like sheep. We should do it 'our way'.....

Other than the logo, the look is excellent!

More amateurishness from Perform Group who manage all the Football League sites. Morecambe FC have little responsibility for the opening splash page. A complaint when in last week and a further one today, as I've had no response. Hopefully this one will get changed.

I'll also contact them regarding the colour scheme on the splash page.

I've also spoken to Sky today about updating the crest on the Sky Sport Football Score Centre iPhone and Android apps, which also uses the old logo.

I downloaded the Sky iPhone app earlier today which has the new club crest, but its still the old crest on my colleagues iPhone. I'm not sure how these things work but if you can download it again it might update with the new crest???

Posh, I had a feeling that it was probably out of the club's hands. Thanks for info and for efforts to sort background colour and badge. Look forward to seeing it corrected (soon???).

iPhone updates are delivered through the app store application on the iPhone. Launch it then check for updates, if there's an update it will be listed and they just need to install it. Shouldn't be any need to re-install just to get an update.

Even better now that the new logo has been incorporated into the new background. No other club to my knowledge has done it 'our way'.
