I'm trying to remember which bobby at CP he was. Was he the one before the last one (if you get my drift), I remb Lance was quite well liked then the new fella turned up with his Morecambe has a "firm" and people didn't get on with him at first or is that Lance.

Lance was a liason officer whilst we were in the conference, once we were promoted I think protocol dictated that the Liason officer was full-time.

To be fair to Jon Shaw, the guy who followed Lance, being seen as the person who "took Lance's job" he was always on a losing hand in that respect.

Jon is still seen at some home games as a supporter, he like many others, have become fans recently.

From what I was told, a new sergeant had issues over Lance extending his beat to include CP on match days. When he stopped covering CP on duty, he did the meeting and greeting on G1

Morecambe Mick - no offence intended, having read this thread thoroughly & recognised the depth of feeling I just want to make sure that folk realise that I was not trying to be a smart arse or anything. There is no room for people like this in a civilised society & I for one would like to see more done to rid us of these sort of bastards.
