Get your name in Quinny's book

Postby quinny » Mon Nov 22, 2010 7:07 pm

Hi everyone

I have finished the contents of the book which has been called Sunset over "Christie Park - 100 Morecambe Memories'' and am hoping it will be available for sale for the game against Port Vale on December 11th, a perfect Christmas stocking filler (hint, hint).
There is however still time for you to pre-order and get your name in the book. You have until Thursday 4pm to do this. The book costs £12.95.
If you want to order one please e-mail me at derekquinn@dsl.pipex.com with the name you want including in the book.
People I have spoken to include:
Charlie Lea
Don Cubbage
Danny Carlton
Jim Bentley
Andy Grimshaw
John Coleman
Jim McCluskie and loads more players, fans and officials....

Quinny , is this the book that was on the special order form last season for "end of an era" items?

I did pay for a book so presumably this is the one.

That was the £15 programme for the Shots final league game.

I too got that and it was signed by Sir Sammy.

It is the same book that was advertised and we have the list of those that have pre ordered already so don't worry about that.
The book took longer than planned because Sean did such a good job with the last game programme that I had to change my tack to make it different.
Hope that makes sense.

I shall now have to check if my name is on the list.

Should I tell them my name Pike?

Many thanks Quinny, that's just solved a problem for my wife, she never knows what to get me for christmas and now it looks like a book about MFC and a lot of other stuff out of the club shop. I'm really looking forward to reading it too, I know it will be brilliant, many thanks for all your dedication which I'm sure will come across in the narrative.

birthday on 31st December just in case anyone is wondering btw
