Sammy looking to bring 3 new players in in January!
Must mean that Capaldi is on his bike.
But who else? Any ideas who these 3 may be?

Capaldi and Brown's contracts are up at the end of the year, as is Spencer's loan deal so I'm guessing we'll be looking at players in those positions.

Well with Jimmy going (presumebley) and Capaldi for that matter.
Possibley a striker, Right back and....?

Although i think that Brown might sign on for the remainder of the year, he has done enough in my opinion.

Probably the best of the short term deal players we've ever had. Can't imagine the team without him. Bloody superb!

Totally agree. i thought we had signed him until the end of the season. If SM doesn't sign him up he is bonkers. One of the players of the season so far for me.

I think Brown will sign a new contract, He's looked good and scored 2 goals.

A right back for certain. Dont know which candidates are in the frame.

A striker , maybe time for some ecclesiastical input ;)

A winger, I suspect Sammy doesnt have 100% confidence in Adam Rundle. Maybe Thommo needs some games out on loan to get his match fitness back :D

Thought Morecambe played well today, we were pretty average compared to recent performances and we didn't punish you enough in the first half. Morecambe came out in the last half with a bit of belief and looked far the better side and deserved the point, if you had taken your chances you could have sneaked a win.

All the best.

But it still was a very soft [non-existent] penalty. x

sammy and mark pleased as punch at the final whistle
been wondering who the three players might be... will be interesting
imho a centre mid in the gary jones vein and two strikers for me would be most welcome
think were covered at the back
ideally dave perkins garry thompson and an experienced striker who knows where the goal is
maybe warren feeney who isnt getting too many games at oldham but not much chance there so my letter has gone to santa tonight first class with the other three names
who are they you ask ?
if you can guess all three theres two sealed guide to pyramid football 2004/2005 books to the lucky persons 8-) ..........

I've said it before on here, but I would love Shaun Harrad to come to us, but I guess we can't afford him, but he has great control and pace, remember his goal at Christie last season in the last league game under the lights?

Kieran Charnock to partner Chris McCready in central defence. Andy Parrish is our best right back so with Wilson on the left that would be a decent back 4. That would leave Bentley and Haining as cover for the centre halves and Haining and Hunter as cover for the right back position.
I think a winger with real speed would be another of the 3 players. That lad that Man Utd have loaned to Bury would be great.
Assuming Jimmy Spencer goes back to the Terriers then we need a striker. Sean Harrad from Burton would be a great signing but not sure when he is out of contract. Maybe Sammy has someone else on his radar like Andy Kirk who nearly came here a couple of years back.

I would like to think that our board of directors and chairman in particular don't take such knee-jerk decisions based on 1 game. The general play has been pretty good this season with a few exceptions such as Oxford , Bury and Lincoln. We could easily have beaten Rotherham , Chesterfield , Gillingham and Burton. Burton were atrocious and I still dont know how we lost there. Those 4 games could easily have been 9 points more than we actually got and we would have been sitting pretty on 27 points.
