The game should be about the football, not the stewards!

absolutely shocking behaviour by the stewards today. especially the one that had to be dragged away by another steward for being too agressive.

apparently the problem was they wanted the drum as only 1 person was allowed to use it and someone else is. Thought we were gonna have a riot at one point. missed most of the 2nd half

The steward/ security person was totally out of order, he is supposed to be trained to deal with situations like this. He is SIA registered and needs to be FIRED overe his actions. I would like to know who his employer is because they need to be asked why are they employing a thug.

They were very poor however it happens at least once a season where a ground will make you sit down ala Rushden.

Our guy deserved to get thrown out though for hitting the steward at the end for no reason

Great entertainment today.

If it had been Leeds or Millwall there would certainly have been a riot caused by the stewards actions and attitudes. They were quite friendly at first so why did they wait for 35 minutes before ordering fans to sit down? Why did they suddenly turn aggressive? Why did they not join in what was good banter and humour. bad management and personnel not fit for purpose. They spoiled a good day out for many and Bradford City and the Football League should get a postbag full of complaints. After all, we may be away fans but we are also customers.

I think you have just got the the root of the problem. It's the supervisor with his suit, clip board and silly rules that puts pressure on the stewards to take action when it isn't needed just so he can write some figures on a piece of paper which show the stewards are doing their job. But I ask the question, aren't stewards supposed to be friendly and helpful members of staff who only become physical when there is need for it? Also, the young Asian steward who overstepped the mark has a little bit of sympathy from me! Yes you heard me right, I believe it is the structure in place that cause him to act in the way he did. He is a young member of an old team and should never have been put in that position by his older more expericenced team mates. The really sad thing is, the steward in question may get sacked yet the rules will stay the same and the supervisor will return next week with a new suit. Disgraceful

I was the one thrown out, I'll admit it was out of order but the steward who got escorted out pushed me so I pushed him back end of. Been totally blown out of proportion.

Fair enough. You didn't do anything wrong you were only standing your ground.

Fair play, you should not have pushed the steward, but why were they bothering trying to get the fans to sit down with 10 minutes of the match left? Completely out of order and not needed. There were only 218 Morecambe fans there, yet we seemed to have more stewards than the rest of the ground put together. :x
