Another excellent review of things to date at MFC.

I obviously have to agree about Smith......

Smith played the full game last night As you mentioned on another topic CC Mr.T did'nt so he may well be in the squad for Saturday. Also Danny Adams played an hour as well so I would certainly expect to see him in the mix

...and how was Smith?

Is he worth a place on Saturday or was it too hard to tell?

Adams is just coming back, though. Most players don't play a full game after having been out for a few weeks. Smith playing another full reserve game is bizarre, but there you go. Maybe (hopefully) he's supper fit

He's only a young lad - he should be able to play if selected, though the closer the game gets the more I think he may be on the bench again.

Our defence was kept rather busy all night. Smith was often left redundant and i would expect him to be on the bench Sat. Danny responded well after his layoff but obviously didnt do anything outstanding! Aaron Taylor looks sharp and deserves a chance at least on the bench but i think the Howe/O'Carroll partnership will be difficult to seperate now
