Hi All

I have finally plucked up the courage to register here and post any info from the club shop. Not sure if this is a good idea but hey ho I am a glutton for punishment. I have registered to let all you Morecambe FC fans know what is going on in and around the club shop. I am open to any constructive criticism but please go gentle on me and please note that I am new to the club (5 months in) and I am still getting my bearings, finding out who is who and also establishing my own methods etc within the club shop. I am sure I have met most of you in the shop one way or another but if you want to introduce yourself next time you are in I would appreciate it.

Just to let you all know the shop times for the Christmas period are as follows:

21/12 9am-6pm
22/12 9am-6pm
23/12 9am-12.30pm
24/12 9am-3pm
25/12 closed
26/12 closed
27/12 11am-4pm
28/12 9am-6pm
29/12 closed
30/12 10am-4pm
31/12 10am-4pm
01/01 9am-6pm
02/01 closed
03/01 closed
04/01 back to normal hours.

Of course match day times are subject to the weather!

If I can help in any other way please ask and I will do my best to help.
Cheers
Phill

Well done Phil, I hope your courage pays off amongst all this rabble  Most of the other formal Club posters took such a battering they don't post any more. Just ignore the numpties and you will be fine. Good luck ;)

It's posts like this that restore my faith in human nature.....at times!

Here's a guy who is new to the role but wants feed back from us, the customer.

Well if my experience of yesterday when I went to purchase Quinny's book (thanks wife for the Christmas money et al... ) is what we can expect on a regular basis, then superb. The guy (assuming that it was the poster) was incredibly helpful as this old fart bundled around the store looking for Quinny's master piece.

Excellent service...many thanks!

:D :D :D

The couple of times I have been in on matchday this season the service has been excellant.

I bought my ticket for the England game from the club shop and the service was fast and friendly. For me it's one are of the ground where supporters are getting a good service.

Now if only the staff in the club shop could serve pies ;)

He hasn't by any chance left his peanuts in the store has he?
At the last home game, he was looking most upset!

Just to echo previous comments Phill, I have been served by your goodself many, many times now in the Club Shop (and also by the other girl who works in there, I don't know her name, so apologies) and the service each and every time has been second to none.

From buying programmes, to tickets, to leisurewear. Everything has been perfect and no issues with anything at all.

WELL DONE to all concerned ! :D

And just thinking back to when I bought my England tickets, Phill was most helpful.

It was like buying tickets for the cinema !! Phill angled his monitor on the counter, showed me the seating plan of which tickets had already been sold and asked me where I fancied sitting.

Top stuff ! (And I hope you show these posts to your bosses or that they read them !!)

Hi Phill.
It's great that MFC now has a slick, purpose-built Club Shop facility. When it says open from 9am to 6pm, does that mean you don't close at lunch-times?

Excellent, was just going to post to see

Hi

Thanks for the comments. To answer Vinny's question the shop is usually open 9am through to 6pm without closing for lunch as there are two of us to cover but unfortunately today is Jo's last day so I will be on my own in the new year  I may have to change the hours slightly but will post here as soon as it is sorted.

To answer Arnside Red's question we are open today till 3pm for all the last minute gifts, we have just taken a fresh delivery of beanie hats and scarves and there is also Quinny's book.

Merry Christmas to all our customers and have a great New year.

I think we've missed a trick not cashing in on Christmas as much as we could have. Why no Santa hats with the crest on? Or baubles, teddies, and other decorations?

The service has always been exceptional when I've been in to visit.

Easter bonnets might be more appropriate by the time we actually kick a ball in anger again :(
