The snow didn't stick cos the ground is soaked after about an inch of rain. Problem will be if it freezes. Minus 3 and 4 is forecast for tonight and Friday night down here

Hailstones in Sydney yesterday afternoon. Quite big ones as well.
Temp. dropped about 10 degrees in 30 mins.

The only thunderbolts down here have icicles attached! It is now minus 3 and sunny. MK fans say the moo camp is frozen. Shall post at midnight when I dangle my foot out for the last time

Don't want to pee on the cobblers optimism but we just hit minus 6.5 degrees on way back from MK and the dark clouds are gathering (and that's just Ned and Pobble )

It is so annoying. They always leave pitch inspections so late on Saturday morning.

Our groundstaff are very good and we were, in fact, one of only three clubs below Championship level to get our game on the Saturday before last. We're not forecast any snow over tonight or into tomorrow, the frost covers are on, and there's nothing lying on the ground. Unless something changes- and quickly- the game will be on.

These cobblers are very optimistic it is minus 7 down here at the moment, but they do seem to think they will be ok? As the snow has been falling in Morecambe tonight it will be very spooky if the game is on and the Indies/ Sardines can't make it

Well it hasn't got any warmer , but looking out of the window it certainly hasn't snowed overnight. Looks promising on that basis

You can be the best driver in the world, but in this weather that skill could count for nowt.
Risking it, just to watch a football match certainly wouldn't appear on my radar.
Seeing that Walsall's game today was postponed yesterday afternoon would have pulled the plug for me.

It's Morecambes responsibility to assure the get 11 players here on time to kick off at 3pm.

Their fans - who cares.
