Postby LancashireShrew » Mon Sep 22, 2008 12:51 pm

Alright guys, i'm a Shrewsbury town fan but moving up to Lancaster uni this Saturday so may adopt Morcambe as my local team (without giving up on Salop). How much is admission and is it worth it?
Cheers, Mikey

Your welcome, but you must learn how to spell before Uni.

No problem with you remaining a Shrewsbary fan!

I'll do my best to remember the 'e' in future then! And i assume Accy Stanley are your biggest rivals? Also how are Stewart Drummond and Neil Sorvel getting on here?

Drummy scored recently at Oldham, had a great game against you guys, but faltered this weekend (one of a few) so may lose his place on Saturday

Neil Sorvel is at Droylesdon now ;)

Well Hi there Lancashire Shrew! You'll find the Shrimps a very friendly bunch and a great laugh, compared with the 'moaning' Shrews lot. I say this as I'm a Lancashire lad born + bred but lived in Shrewsbury for the last 18 years and can almost see the roof of the Pro-Star from my house. Morecambe FC might not be the biggest club in the world, might not have a huge fan base like Shrewsbury but we're proud of what we have acheived and done it from nothing. You'll enjoy it mate! WELCOME!

Bus number 2A drops you right outside the ground, catch it from the "underpass" ;)
