Emergency Transfer Loan Window

The window closes on 25 November.

10 days left to sign players before January.

Sammy says someone has to go out before someone can come in. This despite the exit of Darren Moss !

Who would you let go out ?

Who should we try and sign ?

Is there a maximum a club can allow OUT at any one time?

I assume that you are refering to the playing staff......

;) ;) ;)

Only on a short term contract till January so he is one who may be leaving in January ( not certain though !)

Doesn't make sense having 2 specialist left backs and no proper right back on the books.

How about Jason Walker (again) ?

How about a cheeky bid for Ian Craney ?

Been there...done that!

We need to move forward not backwards.

I'm waiting for somebody to suggest DC!

One thing that our management seem to have foregotten is that we are in the entertainment business. Other than the Coventry, Burnley and Stockport games have we really been entertained?

We were entertained on Saturday v Lincoln CC, to be fair.

For the first 5 minutes.

THEN it went downhill ..............

Why would we need to ship anyone out when Sammy keeps reminding us this is the best squad we have ever had.

I know people say we shouldnt take backward steps but i would love to see Thommo back at the club, im not sure if he's injured but havnt seen his name appearing too often in the Scunthorpe side ???

Sammy said on the radio after the match that he can't bring anyone in until someone goes out.

We do need to get someone in , preferably a decent pacy right back and a pacy front player.

Would love to have Thommo back but don't think it will happen as for bidding for IC and WC this would be seen by many as a step backwards with the club and to be honest they are no better than what we have already got.

hhmm tough one who to get rid of ?

id say Spencer reason being ML signed him and i dont think SM rates him. so let SM get somebody he rates a quality striker who will add competition for a place with Mullin or Jevons

then in central midfield who is the last player you would pick out of these Drummond, Stanley, Scott, Fleming, Brown, Hunter, i would say the latter to be honest but thats only my opinion..

again then the wingers who on the right wing out of Duffy Wainwright Shuker Hunter? my opinion is still the same as before and on the Left we are short with left footed players so Wilson & Rundle are safe

in defence i would say Capaldi is the obvious one to accommodate a right back could that be Hunter? or do you get a proper one whos a specialist and played there all is career?

Problem is that a number are on contracts that would need to be sorted prior to any leaving. A major problem as I see it especially as some are on new 2 year deals.

I must be the only one who still regards Capaldi as a good signing. OK so he's made a few mistakes that have resulted in goals for the opposition, but who hasn't in our defence? Even Jimbo can't escape partial blame in that department.

If you would rather ship out Gazhunher than Shoker and no its not a spelling mistake , then you should book an appointment at Specsavers along with C.C if he thinks Capaldi is a good player . . Apart from a good 20 mins from Shocker in the first game at Wycombe , both have been nightmares. ;)

like i said it is a tough one and about opinion

still think Shuker will prove his quality in time on the right wing and not out of position on the left wing like people seem to be judging him for

Totally agree. Play him in his proper position like he was when he slaughtered us in a pre-season friendly a year or so ago and he'll come good.

Can never understand why managers play people out of position. Look at Wayno. He was not the same when JH and SMc played him out wide. He's a centre forward....should've always bloody played there!

wayne and our other former players are on better wages at fleetwood than here, and they could possibly be leap frogging us anyway

Would you seriously take Duffy out of the team though?

Shuker is a proven league ONE standard player. If played in his correct position he could really be a plus. Hunter tries hard , that cannot be disputed but he is not IMHO a player that will enhance our league position.

Whoever said this was our best ever squad should have a look at the team that won away at Wolverhampton Wanderers , Thompson and Baker , Twiss and Joe Lewis , Yates , Stanley etc etc

I reckon the squad you detail above was our best squad Heysham, yes. Certainly not the current one.

Although you could say our current squad is the most "experienced" when it comes to having played league football and past histories of the current squad etc etc.

CC`s comments that Capaldi and Shuker are good players must qualify as one of the daftest statements of the century. There are better players performing 150 yards from his home on Storth playing fields every Saturday and Sunday, and they are only nine years old.
Bloody unbelievable.

I think the build up and the anticipation of those two inparticular landing on our doorstep gave us all great inspiration and excitement. I think they must have gone through a time warp or a Klingon invasion as they ventured down Christie Way :?

Especially with Shuker. He came with a glowing reputation.

And Capaldi played in the FA Cup Final only a couple of years ago.
