Excellent second half
Penrith came back to 3-3, but then a superb volley to make it 4:3 to Morecambe and entry into the 4th round

Congratulations to them. Are any of them registered and available for transfer to the mens team?

All registered with the FA, but unfortunately only allowed to play in women's league.
Perhaps we should get the 1st team to come watch how it's done!

2nd Qual round: 24/10/2010 Morecambe 8:0 Bolton
3rd Qual round: 14/11/2010 Morecambe 4:3 Penrith

Next round First Round Proper Sunday 12th December 2010

Sammy could have them playing with 1 up front in a 4 - 5 - 1 formation then they can grind out some 1 nil wins

WOMEN'S FA CUP update

Morecambe ladies have been drawn away at Newcastle Utd to be played on 9th Jan.

However, the previous round match against Liverpool has now been cancelled twice, so the FA have switched it so Morecambe are at home. I think this is now scheduled for Sunday 2nd Jan 1pm at Lancaster & Morecambe College.

I will get confirmation closer to the time.

I can now confirm that the FA Cup match against Liverpool is now scheduled for:-

1pm KO at Lancaster & Morecambe College
Sunday 2nd January 2011

If you have nothing planned, then get down and give them some well deserved support.
I think many will be surprised at the level they play!

Yes why not?

It'd be nice to see some 'talent' gracing the Globe....both on and off the field!
