Overkill.
Murderers.
Should have hung the gangmasters.
No comparison to what happens all over the world day in , day out.
Time for bed

...and how much coverage would a few visa overstaying Brits meeting their nasty demise in China get?
If they weren't there, then it wouldn't have happened :!:
Sad, but true.

When I was in China, a group of Brits who were quarantined because one of them had suspected Bird Flu got plenty of coverage in their media so I'm pretty sure deaths in this number would get coverage.

What, 20 odd people die in single work related incidents day in-day out? And we never hear about it?

If they weren't poor, they wouldn't have been there
If they weren't exploited, they wouldn't have been there

It's ridiculus that we are even still discussing this. We have issues with immigration, we all know this. But what we have to do is to approach the problem properly. We have to offer protection to these people before we either accept them or send them packing. The only difference (and I accept it is a big difference) between this and hundreds of other problems with working illegals is that we know the outcome for these unfortunate individuals.

Watched this documentary last night.

The recording they played of the desperate Cockle Picker phoning the police from his mobile pleading for help was particularly harrowing to listen to. All the poor chap could (try) and say was, "sinking water, sinking water" over and over again, and you could literally hear on the audio the sound of the waves engulfing him. Very distressing.
