Team travel to Torquay

Quinny in his pre match report suggested that he 'flew' down to Torquay, meaning of course that he had a fast car journey this morning .

With the cost of an overnight stay plus the cost of a return coach travel and the amount of time taken in transit, I wonder if the club considered flying down from Blackpool or even Liverpool this morning and returning this evening. It may have saved them some money and certainly would have reduced the amount of time spent on a coach particularly on the journey home.

I know that other clubs fly to Bournemouth so why not Exeter which is not that too far away from Torquay? At least the lads could have trained normally yesterday and spent the night at home.

Anything other than one coach is just far too costly the amount of people we have to take.

I know it only takes 2 people in a car to be cheaper than train tickets as they are a rip off! Unless we get our own train

Problem is you can't get a direct train down there.

Normally they train at Preston and set off for their overnight stops at lunchtime but this Friday they are setting off early in the morning and will stop off at Bristol City's new training facility.
