Quote from Rooney, "I won't be signing a new deal and don't want to be at the club anymore"

Well, let their fans now give him HELL for that statement I say, now he has re-signed.

i can see Rooney's point of view with the lack of money for Fergie to go out and replace out-going players properly with equal quality he just went about it the wrong way but thats Rooney for you

and to be honest most United fans will forgive him it's his team mates who might not..

What a W*nker!
How does a club near a billion pounds in debt improve their ability to spend cash on new players if they have to give the player moaning about a lack of funds more money per week?!?!
He's an idiot and playing like crap at the same time, here's an idea for you wayne, if you want your club or country to win things why don't you do you job and score goals!

Thats what i thought, ;)
Tottenhams board were willing to pay for him, Manager doesnt want him.
Mancini doesn't want him becuase Tevez is so much better.
And Chelsea just don't need him.
HE IS A LOUT, CHEAT AND GENERAL DOOR HANDLE.

His agent Paul Stretford pulls all the strings. Rooney wouldn't fart without Stretford checking the wind direction. Rooney's a horrible little squirt but he's far worse for Paul Stretford.

If you haven't seen it check out Frank Skinner on Have I Got New For You http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0 ... Episode_2/ . Watch from 15 minutes absolutely hilarious and his diatribe against Rooney sums him up perfectly.

This is my view of the whole saga,

Wayne "Please can i have some more money in my new contract".

Purple nose " No Wayne we are unable to give you more money at the moment".

Wayne " Well im leaving then, this club has no ambition or ability to attract new players".

Purple nose "Well we finished second last season one point behind the Champions and consistently reach the later stages of the Champions League".

Wayne " I don't care i want more money or im leaving".

Purple nose " Ok Wayne here you go have an extra few grand a week, its not as if your playing particularly well at the moment to not deserve it".

Wayne " Thanks very much indeed, ill stay now if you don't mind, oh and by the way im sorry it wont happen again".

Greedy little sh1t !!

Yes its a fact, im the Financial Director at Old Trafford

No i dont know for certain just call it a gut instinct, for Wayne to come out and say he wants to leave as the club lacks ambition and ability to sign top playes two days ago. To turn around and sign a five year deal and apologise two days later hmmmmmmm.

I think some financial reward was put forward. I don't think even Fergie has that much persuasive power.

And at the start of my last post i quoted (my view of the saga) not factual, my humble opinion. ;)

All a big contract stand-off played out in front of the cameras. Talks had stalled, he called the club's bluff, Taggart went on telly and, on air, told Rooney's agent that David Gill was prepared to offer a deal 'unlikely to be bettered anywhere', they went back and said 'come on, then - how much?', the club told them and he said 'if you'd said that three months ago we wouldn't have got into all this, where's the pen?'

I reckon.

Well if the rags are to be believed, he's now on £230k per week.

I suppose he will be able to afford a better class of prostitute.
