Sammy was hoping to sign yet another loan defender yesterday but sounds as though negotiations broke down, according to his interview on Radio Lancashire Sport at 4.30pm.

Evidently he's still after somebody ASAP as well as in other positions.....just hope it's a striker.

Let him be a quick one too please Sammy.

A couple of weeks ago we were struggling to put a defence out. Haining still isn't featuring, Moss has left and Capaldi is [edit]! That leaves Wilson, Jimbo, Parrish and Mccready. Hunter is not a natural right back, though he has been used in this position when required. Can't see any harm in bringing in another defender.

Too much Red Wine I think for you to come up with that assumption

[edit: And thank you for quoting it in bold!] :?

Capaldi is so good that despite a short term deal and indications that he thinks he can do better than us, he can't get in the team and falls short of Loz Wilson (who he is in competition with for a place in the side) in just about every department. He is not quick enough with or without the ball and is prone to making schoolboy mistakes. He has a good throw-in, but that's about it. We can't afford that luxury, as the goals against column indicates. A complete waste of a wage if you ask me, he doesn't give any value for money. [edit: Behave].

Fair play to you CC, always defending Capalidi. Wow, you must have no football knowledge to defend him. Yes I said it. Omg wow.

Thursday 28th October and we're after another loanee according to Sammy.

This time it's somebody we've been after for 2 seasons and has agreed the move but it's yet to be confirmed. Hopefully before Torquay but probably more likely next week.

Sammy confirmed its a right full-back he is hoping to get in on loan and he has been interested in him for 2 years.

He was after Mark lynch from Rotherham a couple of years ago but he signed for Stockport this season.

Do you think it's fair to poke fun at a fake footballer just because he can't play football as badly as you?
