Kendal FC have signed ex MFC players Ashley Dunn, Paul Lloyd and former loanee Gavin Clarke.

In addition the following are already part of manager Lee Ashcroft's current first 11: Kieran Walmsley, Danny Wisdom and Carl Osman. Former MFC striker Aaron Taylor who was part of the same squad has been released.

And there are others who have played at both Morecambe and Kendal of late.

Surprised about Aaron being released from Kendal, CC.

I know he's had injury problems, but still a shocker. Wonder what'll become of him now .... :?:

He will need a parachute unless someone can save him on the way down :(

I was thinking the same Marky.

From League 2 to Unibond (via Blue Square Prem Barrow on loan), and now released from Unibond. I suspect he might just get disillusioned with it all and give up perhaps.

In cases like this, it makes you wonder what young lads will do with themselves, especially if they have been at their clubs since a young age and straight from school as I presume Aaron had been at Morecambe.

Ahhh, so that's where you got it from CC !!

No wonder I couldn't find anything on Kendal Town's website !

No mention then of where Aaron has gone or why released ??

Fans have good things to say:
Following this evening's game between Morecambe reserves and Tranmere Rovers reserves at The Lakeland Radio Stadium, Kendal Town boss Lee Ashcroft moved swiftly to sign Morecambe's Gavin Clark on a month's loan deal.

Gavin is a Morecambe born lad that can play at left back or in midfield. The teenager has a great attitude and is very talkative on the pitch.

Morecambe reserves player/ manager Jim Bentley said " Gavin is a top professional, this is a good move for Gavin and Kendal Town FC, he was my Captain until very recently when an injury forced him onto the sidelines. He will not let anyone down at Kendal Town".

One game in and the new arrangement seems to be bearing fruits. Sammy McIlroy was also at tonight's game. Good times ahead !!

I liked Aaron as a footballer like I did say on this site .

And I do not know why he has been gone out of Kendal I hope it would work out for him

I'll bet it's injury Darren that has seen his release from Kendal.

I have heard on the jungle drums though that his attitude leaves a lot to be desired. Much was said on the Barrow forum along the same lines during his spell on loan there last term.

Not that I'm aware of....as for Gavin being STILL on loan...excellent news. Certainly 'one to watch' for the future along with young Cowperthwaite.
