Darren has left by mutual consent, shame it's ended this way really but hey ho it gives our wage bill a bit of a breather

No real surprise. Wrexham his next port of call by any chance?

No doubt we've come to a financial settlement. Just hope that we can afford to move into the transfer market come January and get a new striker on-board.

Wish him well. But you have to ask why he was first choice at the start of the season if now he's not wanted? Perhaps he just couldn't settle down at this club? Bemused by Sammy's selection's this season to be honest. Seemed to take injuries to the two centre halves against Bury before Jimbo came back and got it all sorted again.

This leadership thing is a big problem (not sure whether a keeper is best suited to being Captain, as much as we all luv Baz) and Artell should never have been let go to Crewe whilst we're at it. We're underachieving because we are inconsistant and not doing the basics right. You could even argue that since Yates left we've still not sorted the right back position out. That was bloomin' ages ago! Ridiculous to say the least. Seems we can get midfield players in for fun but in positions where we actually need to strengthen we don't!

Sammy moans that some fans don't like him: it's not that. But look at the results and even he should know that any manager is judged on results especially after a quarter of the season has passed. At times it's been very poor. Yet i can see the potential of this squad. Yet time after time we keep making schoolboy errors and that's frustrating for fans paying good money who the club hopefully want to keep coming back in the long term.

Hopefully we can get back on track against Stevenage. We're not out of the woods yet down at the bottom and we need to see the intensity we saw against Bradford and Shrewsbury again.

Keep the Faith!

Mansfield are interested in taking him now that he's a free agent.
