Don't have other favourite teams, but I have found myself cheering Blackpool on (thought they were hard done by yesterday, but for a wonder goal by Villa), Carlisle plus anyone in the dropzone in L1 and the top few in the conference with an eye on fleetwood and barrow.

Nottingham Forest, followed them quite a lot when I was at University. I still get to the odd game a season.

How can people like both Blackpool and Preston? Insane. It is one or the other. For mine, seasiders stick together whilst Preston have a Lancaster waste away.

Easy, I follow Preston as my grandad was a scout for them so its just in me to like them.
Blackpool because i admire what they have done and the spirit they show after being compleltley written off. Also because Holloway is an absolute gent.

Morecambe, Morecambe were always my non league team (from 1968 or so) so to speak, but about 5 years ago up until the end of the season there was a great chance they'd both be in league 2 the following year, if i have a premier team it is Arsenal, rangers, Hibs and Caly thistle in scotland but really barnsley and Morecambe are the only two which hurts if they lose, if they both lose over a week end (and it does happen)the family tend to avoid me lol

You can 'like' both if you don't 'support' either. I'm not going to burst in to tears if either get relegated but I want to see all the Lancashire sides doing well. That said, due to my wife being from Burnley I do have an irrational smile when Blackburn lose but that's mainly because I know it will make her happy!

Premiership:
Man Utd & Blackpool, want Newcastle to go down.
Championship:
Burnley, PNE,
First Division:
Dagenham & Redbridge
Conference:
Barrow & Fleetwood

Out of those, Burnley are the only team that I really give two hoots about really and even then, the last time I saw Burnley live I REALLY wanted them to lose!

I know they are a local side but they aren't exactly likeable! I have been to our 'friendlies' at their place in recent years and I can honestly say there was nothing friendly about their team or their fans.

Ok, I will go for:

Premiership: Arsenal, Man City
Championship: Cardiff City
League 1: Dag & Red
Conference: Fleetwood

La Liga: Barcelona
Bundesliga: Hamburg
Serie A: Inter Milan

Premiership: Man Utd, Blackpool (what they have done is great to see in this modern day where money pretty much dominates footy)

Championship: Doncaster – (because of the win against them however many years ago that effectively kept us in the conference. Amazing to see a team do so well so quickly)
League 1: Yeovil - (amazing set of fans in the conference days)
Conference: Southport – (I know they’re our rivals but I like to see them do well)
SPL: Rangers - (always supported the Gers, first ever game I went to see was Rangers V Celtic, if you can’t catch the footy bug watching that you never will)
Scottish 1st: Dunfermline - (ex house mate was a supporter)
Scottish 2nd: Forfar - (have family in the area)
Scottish 3rd: Clyde – (Seen them more than Morecambe this season, terrible football team, horrible to watch but you can’t pick your mates right!)
La Liga: Malaga – (Regular family holiday, plus family over there)
Bundesliga: Monchengladbach – (nearest big team when I lived in Germany, beautiful city too)
Serie A: AC Milan – (Ruud Gullit and Marco Van Basten where a joy to watch, I remember watching this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BlQ6gtDHXSY live!)

Prem: Manchester United- used to go a few times a season
Champ: PNE, used to enjoy the atmosphere on the Bill Shankly Kop. Look out for Scunthorpe because of Thompson and Woolford
Conf: York- get to a few games a season. Look out for Fleetwood and Barrow + others with ex players- Twissy scoring a winner on saturday
Evo-Stik Prem: Kendal Town
Evo-Stik Div 1 North: Lancaster City
A League: Melbourne Victory but good to see McFlynn do so well at Sydney FC

The only team I would pay money to watch on a regular basis is The Shrimps (both first and second team squads)

If 'er in doors wants to do some shopping in Kendal when we are away, I might consider watching Kendal.

Can't even be arsed these days to watch much football on TV other than The Football League Show and that's only 'cause we are on it.

I can honestly say I don't give a rats ar$e about the Premier Greed, although I think Ian Holloway is an absolute LEGEND for what he has done for Blackpool. Considering they were favourites to go down from the Championship last season and then got Promotion .... Should he perhaps be considered as the next England manager? My lack of interest in the Premier League is proved by the fact I hardly EVER watch Match Of The Day.

I always, always look for Oldham Athletic's results because my family were from Chadderton and were all Latics fans and I have attended many matches at Boundary Park.

In Non League, I look out for Fleetwood Town's scores (always have done since they reformed in the North West Counties League Division 2. Look where they are now) and Barrow (but only because I have a good friend who follows them). I have developed an interest too in FC United Of Manchester and have my fingers crossed for an FA Cup 1st Round tie against them (hoping of course they dump Barrow out firstly in the 4th Qual !!!).

I also always look in The Vis (yes, I still buy it) to see how Carnforth Rangers and Millhead FC have got on.

But, above all, it is Morecambe first and last. Always has been, always will be.
