Looks legit to me. I received one the other day explaining I had inherited $800,000 from someone in America. So I sent them all my bank details and I'm just waiting for the cheque :D

Edit: I've just received another one! :o

i get em all the time. just delete it

i had one last year with a death threat saying somebody wants me dead but if i pay £10.000 into a western union bank account then they would call off the hitman, and that if i got the police involved they would kill me, i then laughed and and replied and said do it!

it's a common scam with people from backward country's who can get your e-mail address via eBay but the sad thing is out of every so many hundreds of them they send out you will get one what pays up

Worst thing you could have done, you have just confirmed to them that the email address they used is valid and you're only going to get more.

Some people just can't resist taking it further

I got an email from British gas,
a bill based on an estimated reading.
That email from Nigeria is more believable!
( & probably work out cheaper, too!)

Was that what you were contemplating at the bottom of Queen Street this morning?

He doesn't think you're Martin Broughton by any chance. Tell him you'll sell to him right now before the high court hearing tomorrow so long as he pays in advance. quids in. or in this case quid.

Just keep an eye on your bank account for the next few days & make sure your firewall software is up to date.

To be fair. If anyone is stupid enough to read that and not think its a bit suspect then they deserved to be raped for all their cash.

I belive you need to apply a full stop after the word 'said' only when you get your own gammar right should you comment on others mistakes also look at your username ;)

Well that does not make sense at all, so maybe you should. A couple of spelling mistakes (belive, gammar) and no punctuation (maybe one after said and mistakes). And shouldn't your username have any capitals? Stones and glass houses... ;)
