We have the very young (eg. Little Shrimp who is about six years old), do we have any over seventy ?
We have, I assume, mainly men posting, do we have any women posting ?
We have the extremely blinkered, and those with an open mind.!
We have the totally thick, and, like me, the very intelligent.!!!
We have the pompous (in particular certain people who always inform us they sit in Block C),
and we have the rest.
We have the very amusing, including the odd poet, and we have some with verbal diarrhoea.
We have some who can spell, and others who may be able to when their voice breaks.
We even have some who like Sammy, but it takes all sorts.

All in all, a great crowd, and great entertainment. Thank you all, it is always a pleasure to Log on..

My Nickname is Blackie. Yes, I'm over seventy and been a true red for over 63 years (shrimps were not not on the menu when I started supporting). I used to live not a hundred yards from Christie Park (as the crow flies). Now I'm over 300 miles away and see more away matches. But while I can still draw breath it's good to be able to discuss the rights and wrongs, the lows and highs about our team. I sincerely hope we get a few more highs this season. All in all I'm not complaining, I've seen my team in the football league and with a new ground and much to look forward to in the future. So my message is . . . KEEP THE FAITH. Blackie

I am an inhabitant of the MBW with many faces I no longer recognise or know (which depresses me somewhat) but apart from that am incredibly happy to be at The Globe despite missing Christie (my second home of over 25 years)

Im Squaddie_Shrimp and as my name suggests Im serving in the british army, based down in Blandford Forum and try to make it to the games around me and the occasional home game, but its a hell of a distance to travel!!

Hi. I'm cyprus-shrimp. No prizes for guessing that I live in Cyprus. Retired out here 6 years ago. Born and bred in Heysham (Lister Grove near Strawberry Gardens). Suported MFC ever since my Dad took me to Christie Park when I was about 7 years old (55 yrs ago). Had a great re-union back at C.P. for the Aldershot game in May (ultimately NOT the last at C.P of course). Met up with about half a dozen mates who all go back to the days when I used to play for Heysham FC - had a great weekend.

Now lets stop pissing about and concentrate on winning some matches and getting back up the table. Getting into the play-offs or close to automatic promotion may be the only way to persuade her indoors (well actually outdoors here in Cyprus) to release me and enable me to get back to The Globe to watch MFC again!!!!!!!!!!!!!
