We are doing a stuff the supermarket promotion and guess what - Beacon is one of the drinks that you can collect loyalty points on and therefore get some free booze at Xmas. The others are Black Sheep, Carling and Export. You should have a few cases saved up by Xmas?

No mate - I think it was just the managed Mitchell's houses then.

After a few days we have a lot of takers so far.

It's a good deal to save up for a few extra free bottles for Xmas.

So what would be anyone's top ten from these styles of music. Here's a few:
1.Down in the Tube Station at Midnight- The Jam
2. British Way of Life- The Chords
3. Pressure Drop- Toots and the Maytals
4. Ghost Town- The Specials
5.Redemption Song- Bob Marley
6. Time For Action-Secret Affair
7. One Step Beyond- Madness
8. Ku Klux Klan-Steel Pulse
9. Police and Thieves- Junior Marvin
10.Too Much Pressure-The Selecter

Much too young for any knowledge of Northern Soul.

Yea I like Gangsters too, prefer Nite Klub off their first album though... (.... I won't dance in a, pub like this, all the, girls are slags, and the beer takes just like p*ss).

Pressure Drop - Toots and The Maytals

Double Barrel - Dave and Ansell Collins

Judge Not - Bob Marley (yes Ska!)

This is Ska - Bad Manners

Three Minute Hero - The Selector

Shaking Up Orange Street - Prince Buster

Mirror In The Bathroom - The Beat

One Step Beyond - Prince Buster

I'm In The Mood For Love - Lord Tanamo

No way in any order or even 10% complete but a selection of Ska music I like.

Notice no Madness? Southern softy jessies, who apart form the early stuff (Baggy Trousers era) were crap.

The lads and lasses who have been subjected to my musical tastes on the minibus will vouch for eclectic taste in music ;)

Here's a snippet of really useless Madness information. Madness "borrowed" the room key of a hotel in Ramsgate and used it on the cover of one of their albums. The hotel's switchboard was jammed for 3 weeks with people calling from all over the world asking for souvenir keys. It must be true, I read it in the hotel's lift on thursday. Unfortunately now they have digital door locks so I couldn't borrow a key
