Personally I think it's fantastic Capello is looking at other player, Kevin Davis is a great player and great professional and I truly believe he deserves this chance.

He is too old. What happened to this youth policy after a shocking world cup.

Agreed, I also believe he is less likely to underperform than our 'star' players.

Him and Elmander look very good this season, definetly one of the better strike partners this season.

I firmly believe that Davies would have had plenty of caps by now if he hadn't have plied his trade for such an unglamourous club. He basically does everything Heskey purported to do yet actually scores goals. 8 years too late but well deserved in my view.
