Should be a bumper gate against Shewsbury.
Should make it a flag day and try and get some of that North stand spirit to the Globe.

A bit odd if you ask me, one adult can bring in 4 kids for a quid each?
why so desparate to put bums on seats for no profit?
I will take advantage of this strange offer, but I do not get it?

Mr McGuigan senior will not be wanting to be seeing empty seats, here there and everywhere. They look a bit white on the telly as well, maybe Sky are doing a feature?

It'd be a step up from the promotion at present. But they'll get there.
Just sorting out numbers for a Christmas 'do' there at the moment - sounds good!

Travelling to The Globe by bus on a Saturday?
Then Stagecoach have an offer on the go. It's called A BAY BIG 5 ticket .
Travel on 2, 2A, 3, 3A, 4, 6, 6A, 40, 41, 42 between Common Garden Street (Lancaster) and any point in Morecambe/Heysham covered by those routes.
Up to 5 people travelling together in both directions costs a total of £5 return. Me and Doris took advantage last Saturday. So even for a couple of people a fiver is still money in your pocket, but a mega saving if you've got kids in tow.
Combine that with a filling pre-match offer-of-the-week lunch (£1.99), and a bottle of vin rouge (£4.95) in Yates' on Church Street.

Fantastic promotion this quid a kid.
With a bit of luck we will get our first home win (as we did last season v. Shrewsbury at home !! Or was it the season before ... can't remember !!) and a few more will be enticed back for more !!
Should be a great atmosphere as the Shrews will bring a fair few as well as they always do.

I presume that a season ticket holder can get a kid in for £1 even though they are not actually a paying adult on the day?

Would have thought so mate. At the end of the day, you have still paid for your adult ticket.

I would check on that one if I were you. It states when buying a full price adult ticket, for which they are extending the opening times for purchase.
I would "suggest" that they won't class a season ticket as qualifying and certainly not a concession?

Great idea! Hopefully it will convince some kids that they want to support Morecambe.
