I am liking this new forum, much prettier than the old one.
Anyway, good luck with your relegation struggle come August.
From all your friends over the river.

In the unlikely event of us being relegated we would still need a telescope to look down the various leagues to find Lancaster City !

Its nice having a team like lancaster city as our neighbours. If we lose a few games next season and wins are hard to come by, we can look contently across the river and think thank fook we arent them! The envious 150 stood watching pub league football at the axe can look back and think i wonder who marsh utd are playing next week.

It doesn't feel that long ago that finishing above Lancaster City was the goal for the season... How times change eh? They were the bigger club in the area for a while!

Tell the kids of today that an' they wouldn't believe it...

Where were you when we were crap? Where were you...

I'd like to see some recovery south of the river but to be honest, survival is as good as it gets and as we establish ourselves in the Football League, it will get harder and harder for the City as we gain more fans with our catchment area growing.
