i disagree with Sammy that tactics are not important so with that in mind i would play
3-4-1-2 on tuesday and play a system that matches the strengths of the players we have.

Roche

Parrish Bentley Scott

Hunter (RWB) Drummond Stanley ( LWB)Wilson

Duffy

Mullin Jevons

the resons for this are simple it can be easily adapted to 4-4-2 with parrish/ wilson switch to LB duffy has a free role is in the gap and will keep their centre halves busy we play better when attacking and we NEED Bentley's Leadership on the pitch with 3 at the back it should compensate for Bentley's lack of pace.

There is no way we can drop Duffy, he's looking so dangerous atm.

Roche
Parrish Scott Bentley Wilson
Duffy Drummond Stanley Rundle
Jevons Mullin (if we use him right. If not Spencer)
1 Notts County 46 65 93
2 Bournemouth 46 17 83
3 Rochdale 46 34 82
4 SHRIMPS 46 9 73

Roche
Hunter Parrish Scott Capaldi
Duffy Stanley Drummond Brown
Jevons Mullin

With Spencer coming on for either of the strikers, and Shuker/Rundle for Brown later on.

Totally agree there. It would allow Wilson to bomb forward and get some decent crosses in. I would maybe take Drummond out for Fleming.

I like that too. Sammy wont go with that after spending money on 'better' players though.

sorry i dont agree but that 3 4 1 2 i cant see working way to much ground for Hunter to cover on that side as a wing-back he would get to exposed for having little legs

back to basics for me 4 4 2 with a lot of last seasons top 4 lineup now because of injuries maybe a blessing?

I believe the time is right for Jimbo to step on to the turf. Let's get back to who and what we know eh 8-)

We can provide the rockets, I'm sure he can light the blue touch paper :D

Oh and if Jim is "bare bones" then I'm the pope

Since when has Fleming not been the 2nd name on the sheet (behind Roche)?
Best player by miles so far.

has Moss being paid up been officially announced ?

not seen it anywhere and it would have been an expensive exercise. surely he could have been loaned out if there was no sign of a first team place here.

i cant see people being transfer listed or having there contracts paid up at this stage of the season

but i had heard after them clear the air talks, that SM had had basically said to all the players if you dont like it then find another club

then people were dropped and rumours started

It's the fascination of following a team... will Jim return? Will Fleming and Rundle come back in?
What about Wilson? Will Parrish stay at centre back? Will Hunter be back on the bench?
Should Brown be in the centre rather than out on the left? Where should Scott play? Should Stanley start? Does Capaldi keep his place? Who would be a manager??? :o  :?

Capaldi's long throw ins are the pretty much the only thing he really adds to the team, Hunter was apalling against Barnet and Shuker just doesn't look good enough :?
