Pie, peas & gravy

Pie, peas & gravy

Postby P/T Indie » Sat Sep 25, 2010 5:09 pm

Never mind the game more importantly I finally decided to try out the catering today hoping that after a few games things have now been sorted and I must say my pie, peas and gravy were fantastic :D

I went before the start of the game so no queue and the service was very good.

Great news!

Unfortunately I couldn't stomach any kind of food after taking the probiotic yogurt test each morning for the last week......................................Through the eye of a needle doesn't cover it

I got screwed over by the catering staff. First they had ran out of large hot dogs, secondly when I got my small hot dog, she charged me for a large hot dog, she gave me it in a roll not a baguette like previously and finally all the ketchup had gone, so just had to settle for mustard.
Suppose its just been a bad day for me from all aspects of Morecambe FC, food and football

Thats nothing! They run out of lager behind the home end. Had to make do with cider at half time.

Thankfully no problems today but you would think making sure there was enough food and drink for the fans that want it would be sorted out a couple of hours before.

I used to bring just one little one, no problems with his viewing on the carwash, he could wander and find a gap... Bollocks to that now, (whilst sat on the front step of the North terrace... 'behind the barrier please'... but I can't really see otherwise... - Tuff shit kidda, behind the barrier! - (my own interpretation..) So he didn't get to see most of the match. As for the the food, was a bit pricey then when we both had a burger and two bottles of pop on the old carwash... Don't bother now, we can't get a burger and I ain't paying that much for a couple of bloody hot dogs with pop, so we dont use the over priced outlet at all, we go else where before the game. He's not bothered about coming again, strangely enough, he wasn't one of the ones I mentioned who wasn't bothered about going again in another thread. Shame.

The forks are back!

Had to make do with tiny spoons at the Chesterfield game.
