Just been listening to the latest debate on this subject. Whilst I agree plastic bottles and glasses are much safer in a night club late on, I hope we are not forced to use plastic down the pub at 8pm or whatever. You get the idiots throwing bottles on the streets anyway and now that the young lasses wearing 6" heels simply take them off while walking about why should the rest of us suffer?

I think that in the main it should be left to the landlords descretion, but town centre pubs and clubs?

a bit of help/advise from LVA and local police

in town centers pubs/clubs after a certain time say 8pm should only serve in plastic especialy weekends

in local pubs(drinkers pubs) on the outskirts of towns/city's should be down to the landlord/landlady discretion

I think we should be forced to drink out of furry cups.

Or if in the queens, or duke of lancaster, tea towel holders

How is drinking from a plastic cup suffering? Is a pint not still a pint?

Some bars around the country are charging 50p for a glass!!

dont know why but it dont taste the same

Can understand them doing it on city or town centre pubs on a saturday night but it would be a shame if pubs which are a few miles from a city centre had to have plastic glasses.

There is an odd "quality" bit of plastic but not very often . Give me Barbie any day
