Just been listening to the latest debate on this subject. Whilst I agree plastic bottles and glasses are much safer in a night club late on, I hope we are not forced to use plastic down the pub at 8pm or whatever. You get the idiots throwing bottles on the streets anyway and now that the young lasses wearing 6" heels simply take them off while walking about why should the rest of us suffer? :(

in town centers pubs/clubs after a certain time say 8pm should only serve in plastic especialy weekends

in local pubs(drinkers pubs) on the outskirts of towns/city's should be down to the landlord/landlady discretion

Can understand them doing it on city or town centre pubs on a saturday night but it would be a shame if pubs which are a few miles from a city centre had to have plastic glasses.
