But only for about 15 to 20 minutes all being well!
I've no idea what the time difference is between EDT & BST but if the web site disappears for a short while on Thursday morning, you'll know why.
As part of our commitment to provide quality web hosting services, a reboot of your server has been scheduled for, September 22, to upgrade into a new kernel which will help mitigate the exploit for CVE-2010-3081(http://bugs.centos.org/view.php?id=4518). Please read the details carefully.
Scheduled Date and Time:
This is scheduled to be done beginning Wednesday 22, 2010 at 10 PM EDT through Thursday 23, 2010 at 4 AM EDT.
Maintenance Type:
There was a recent exploit that impacted all CentOS5 64Bit servers and in order to mitigate the said exploit, your server needs to be rebooted in order to upgrade into a newly released kernel.
Estimated Downtime:
While the reboot will take place during a six hour period, this does not mean that your server will be offline for this length of time. A typical reboot should take no longer than 15 - 20 minutes. We do not foresee any further downtime outside of this window.
