Maybe it's just me, but I'm hugely disappointed with this event - while I realise it isn't primarily about the flying, it used to be that we had the entire RAF display team displaying over a Sunday, including the Red Arrows. Now we have just have the BBMF, which while a great show, is hardly the most exciting of displays compared to the Harriers, Hawks and Tucano's from the past.

No fear, Admiral 'arry will rise to the challenge.
His Executive Officer, Commander 'Donkey' Adams will take charge.
And the country will be saved from being scarred for ever.
Long live 'arry :D

I remember going on the short walk to the prom many a time to watch the Lancaster Bomber & Spitfire flypast and the Red Arrow performance. As an aside, the Sunderland Air Show was ruined this year by a Sea Fret. It was gonna be the best ever, but both days ended up pretty much being non-events as far as any airborn action was concerned.
Some are dead and some are living. In my life, I've loved them all.
