No Spencer? He looked very useful when he came on last week. He made clever runs which confused the opposition defence.

Sammy will play whatever team he feels can snatch a draw, with inevitable consequences.

but me i would go for all 3points and have a outright 4 3 3

Roche
Parrish Haining McCready Wilson
Stanley Scott Fleming
Duffy Spencer Rundle

and plus id be telling my fullbacks to go forward at every opportunity

I just hope that Stanley is back in the team and Spencer plays from the start. I'm pretty sure Sammy will play 4 5 1.

Hopefully this new guy will slot in at left back and we can push Wilson further on where he has the potential to be our most effective player, I have always said we should play him there. Here's hoping.

Roche
Parrish McCready Haining new guy or Hunter
Duffy Stanley Fleming Wilson
Mullin Spencer

Just would love to see the new signing starting because of his past experience

And I like the idea of Spencer and you gotta bring in Stanley come on.

And bring Wilson in left mid because of his speed or have we brought in another left back just for the pressure for Wilson :ugeek:

And Southend are under pressure due to the manager and with all the new signings they got

Wilson was most effective when we went to 4-4-2 and he made his runs from the Full- Back position and scored the odd goal too. The problem now is that he doesn't seem to go past the half way line for some reason.

That's what i would like to see too, also make Haining Captain and keep Duffy away from those free-kicks that Jonny Wilkinson would have been proud of. Its time we made the opposition goalie work for a change . ;)

I'd like to see something completely different... but, I'm going to go with this:

---------------------ROCHE---------------------

PARRISH---HAINING---MCCREADY---CAPALDI
---------------------SCOTT-----------------------
--SHUKER---FLEMING---BROWN---DUFFY----

---------------------MULLIN--------------------

Roche
Parrish McCready Haining New Dude
Scott
Duffy Fleming Brown Wilson
Mullin

At least we should be able to shovel the ball up to Mullers with that lot in there. With Haining long throwing from the right and New Dude long throwing from the left it will be like having loads of free kicks.

Not suggesting you are wrong, but it's classic force 4-1-4-1 to work by going for hoof-ball. Yet we've got some of the most skilful footballers at the club that we've ever had, we just aren't playing to their strengths.
