What a shame it is to see them languishing down in the lower reaches of the Premiership.
I can't see them getting relegated, after all they do have the likes of Darren Fletcher and Park Ji Sung on the bench.
It was the selling of Louis Saha that left them in such a sorry state.
I think Rafa Benitez should be applauded for leaving Fernando Torres on the bench and only letting Steven Gerrard stretch his legs.
Let's face it you don't want to ridicule what was once a great club.
RIP Salford United.

Its ok, we can safely say the Liverpool Franchise will never win the league. Have the points.
And hopefully after England's excellent performance on Wednesday without Steven "The Colossus" Gerrard playing he will never wear the 3 Lions again. We don't need football's Harry Houdini in any way, shape or form.

congratulations liverpool beat man u! now they think the league is theirs.
just wait when the inconsistency shine's through when dropping points at teams like Blackburn and Wigan.
It wasn't long ago , they nearly and should have lost against Liege. How a few weeks change people's minds

Let's get this o/t back on topic. It's about Salford and the Greater Manchester area.
Let's be sympathetic to the poor souls.

Loves it.
I wish I had picked my team to support on the strength of having once visited Ikea in Warrington and seeing someone in a Liverpool shirt. That would make me so proud.
United can afford to take a year off from winning titles. They need a rest from all the trophy lifting.

Am I missing something? Why all the references to Salford? United are based in Trafford and not Salford.

Am I missing something - I'm sure when I got out of bed this morning I was a MORECAMBE fan - let's keep talk of Premier League Prima Donnas off this board. Ahh but a lot of folk want to be involved with teams at the top
