Is Wayne Rooney now only going to play at home?
How does dropping him for the Everton match spare him from future abuse? If anything it'll spur away crowds to dish out more abuse as they now know it can affect him.
Most England fans hate him after his world cup outburst anyway, most opposition fans hated him anyway or at least gave plenty previously.
Surely if anything he's guna get more flack for being doted upon like a baby for his own disgraceful actions. Cappello got it right by playing him and got it out the way, Fergie lost his mind by bringing it in the spot light even more?
As a liverpool fan I hope it seriously affects his goal scoring form

It sure will have Utd got Liverpool and City coming up soon I bet the Rangers fan go to town on him tonight as well.

The thing is has Fergie gone soft in the days when Giggs, Scholes, Beckham were kids he had his army of spies out over Manchester and would follow their every move and then punish them suitably with a spell inthe reserves etc. This isn't the first time Rooney has been up to no good but fergie doesn't seem to mind.
