Sad day for them and not sure what knock on effect it will have for Worksop Town as they ground share with them.

It really is becoming more and more common... I fear that Sheff Wed may not be far away from such fate, having had their tax bill somehow doubled since their last winding up petition.

Just makes you thankful for the way the chairman and board handle our finances.

Looks like they are appealing as they seem to think they have two intrested parties and can sell a player for £20,000.

Kings Lynn went not so long ago their's was very harsh they won promotion but that meant they had to spend a fortune on getting their ground done up which in reality they couldn't afford.

They don't seem to give the cub small clubs a chance I suppose they think they will never in reality get any decent income but you have the likes of Portsmouth & Cardiff seem to have court hearing after hearing and get away with it for years.

I never knew Howard Wilkinson was chairman at Wednesday now until now, I am sure Wednesdayite could update us further.
