Not sure, mate.

We've been looked after so well at the Pally that we don't want to desert them. I've suggested that the club send a flier out through the quiz league saying they'd welcome any teams that wanted to relocate (usually one or two do during a season as they fall out with landlords or pubs close).

I'm sure they'd welcome a team (or even two so they can always have one at home each Monday).

Is there really such a thing as a quiz league in our area ?? I had no idea about that !!!

Just Google Lancaster city quiz league. The league starts next week so the fixtures are on but no tables as yet, I predict 4th in Div 3 for us!

Budweiser large bottles - buy 1 get 1 free
Coors lite on draught - buy 2 pints and get a 3rd free
Potted Shrimp - £2.20 per pint

I will be there with family, Supporting the bar and England.

why not advertise for a quiz team in the programme? Good way to promote the bar and perhaps end up with a Shrimps quiz team?

Good turnout - about 30/40 in all. For some reason they hadn't put any hot food on but they brought some sarnies out to hand round later on.

Bottles of Bud BOGOF went down rather too well! (Good job I cycled).

We'll be back in again tomorrow after Fat knackers' 5-a-side and then I'll be in next Tues for the Werder Bremen v Spurs match.

My late father was a member of the all conquering Joiner's Arms team back in the day with Jim Tarpey (remember him, Shrimper?)

ManU v Rangers on same night so it'll be a two screen job, should be a good night.

And, yes, USA remember Mr Tarpey well, played against Joiners a few times when I was in Bath Hotel team. They were a top side but we thrashed them in a semi-final of the cup we went on to win one year - they weren't happy!

After the trouble in the City centre last time, the 3500 Rangers fans travelling are being dropped at the DW Stadium first where they will be taken to Old Trafford by bus and not receive their match tickets till then! Can't see how this will stop other fans travelling tho

Well i will be in along with my son to watch the Rangers match, don't suppose there are any other Morecambe / Rangers fans out there, i suppose we will be heavily outnumbered by all the Man U fans, At least you will be in the majority Shrimper i cant see there be many Werder Bremen fans going
