As dog and partridge regular i never really get in the york, I know the landlord is a keen MFC fan, and he encourages away fans there for a bit of pre match banter, are his local fans putting their bums on seats prior to the 12 minute walk down to the arena via the trimpell :?:

probably will, a bit out of my way but i think the york has been a focal point for the team for a long time and as the landlord is a big fan of the club, he deserves a bit of support :!:

Always get a warm welcome from the host Mick and his staff on a visit to the York, a proper football pub that local Morecambe fans should embrace and make the most of as not many pubs cater for both sets of fans in such a friendly way imo

Cheers for that plug mate - yes it has been strange how our normally loyal fans have been absent at the start of this season. I suppose it is just the new ground syndrome and people will make their minds up one way or another.

As has been said before we look after ALL fans and have now secured the services of the bus (Although at the moment the club don't allow us into the car park after the game). The schedule is 2pm, 2.20 & 2.35 the final bus allows you to finish watching the Sky game.

With the parking chaos around the ground folk can sort of use us as a park and ride scheme(as was mentioned in the Visitor letters page last week).

Hoping to see some of you back soon.
