Been close a few times in the recent past but I have never seen a 6,000+ gate for a Morecambe home game. I hope the club can sell the last few hundred tickets in the morning and have a sell-out. :D

Any statos know when we last had a gate of 6,000+? Must have been in the 1960s I guess?

I think it was v.Weymouth in 1962 in the F.A.Cup, although it seemed pretty full v.Ipswich in 2001.

Had about 5950 for Ipswich, with the home end being a complete sell-out. With Burnley doing their bit and selling 1800 there is a good chance we will top that crowd. Fingers crossed!

At the ground this morning, and after talking to staff in the shop, approx 5500 tickets sold, so despite previous posts elsewhere yesterday, it is NOT yet a sell out. Tickets were available for the MBW stand and the Berlin Wall. ps, i was there at 1115am and the tikets were only being sold until 12 this lunchtime so i don't think it will be a full house. pps, they were NOT selling seats with restricted views, approx 100 seats.
