Podge scored a penalty away at Carlisle, with Danny in goals in Danny's League debut (I think).

Remember Craig Curran? He's just left Dundee United for city rivals Dundee in unusual circumstances...

"Striker Craig Curran has written his own chapter in the city of Dundee’s football story.

Curran sat on Dundee United’s bench as an unused substitute for their 1-1 draw against Partick Thistle on Saturday before getting changed out of his tangerine strip, walking over the street, putting on a dark blue top and signing for Dundee.

To be part of one team’s matchday squad in the afternoon before crossing the road in the evening to join the other is pretty unusual to say the least.

It wasn’t unexpected, however, with Tangerines boss Robbie Neilson confirming the Dark Blues’ interest in the 29-year-old frontman last week.

Dens boss Jim McIntyre welcomed the arrival of Liverpool-born Curran, who has signed a contract until 2021.

The pair worked together at Ross County, with the manager having signed him for the Staggies when he was in charge of the Dingwall club.

With the final whistle having barely sounded at Tannadice, McIntyre said: “I’m absolutely delighted that Craig has signed.

“He is a player I know very well from our time together previously.

“Craig is the right type.

“He has the right mentality and he is exactly what we need moving forward.” "

Elliot Osborne scored the only goal last night as Stockport County beat 1874 Northwich in their Cheshire Senior Cup tie.

452 fans at Edgeley Park. Massive club Stockport. Sad to see them at this level.

If a striker gets the service he will score, problem is we just don't provide any decent service to our striker. He's often isolated and has to battle on his own against an oppositions defence and i find it of concern that our Assistant manager was a goalscorer in his non league days so you would have thought he at least realised the problem.
