Ashley Dunn who the Salford management duo said wouldn't play used to be on our books and played in a number of reserve games probably 8 years ago if not longer. Looked to be a good prospect but wasn't given a chance to show what he could do in the first team.

Danny Carlton scored his first for Lancaster tonight.

A rather simple tap in.

Noticed that Chris Holroyd scored for Macclesfield too the other night.

Don't think Jack Sampson has scored yet for them?

Didn't he score a couple for Macclesfield when he joined them on loan from us?

Makes me realise how lucky we have been on the goals front this season when I look at Jacks record..
In the 2 years he was with us he scored 5 in 58 appearances and at times couldn't have picked a banjo up never mind hit something with one.
Then scored 2 in 4 for Macclesfield on loan which I presume got him a contract
..
He has scored precisely NIL in the 15 times he's played for them since.

Macc Forum:

Don't think I've ever seen a striker as XXXXXX as him. Last minute need to get a goal and he's stood on the XXXXXX half way line.

It's very unusual for me to be critical of individual players but this lad is simply a waste of a shirt!

And from the same thread....

Get Diagne up front in his place on Tuesday or move Holroyd into the middle, Jack is an embarrassment
