Preston's Fishergate Shopping Centre just doesn't seem to have the required attraction for Posh somehow.

The Arndale at Morecambe seems more in keeping!

Hell he might start a trend

Gone are the days when former players would buy a pub - they'll have to do something with all that cash though - maybe they'll all start buying football clubs .

Could we not find some washed up player with money coming out of his ears ?????

I haven't got a problem with Beckham running the midfield (or entire team a la Greece at old trafford) but you wouldn't want him running a football club.

clubs are run on judgement lets take a look at his record:

Haircuts

left Salford United and promtly won f*** all until his last season

married some stick insect with absolutely no talent and a penchant for spending what money he has got

If he did take over the manager would be Gazza and the backroom staff would be peter andre and jordan

and why would he want to come back from LA and take over a team with a worse record in the league cup than us.

On a more serious note however, I didn't realise Mr McGuigan had played. Do tell.

I know this is tongue in cheek but the haircuts issue is an interesting one.

Have you ever thought 'why' he changed his style so frequently. It was because he had contracts all over the place for 'image' rights, so was keen to change that 'image' as often as he could. No paper or magazine would want to use a photo of him with his 'mohican' cut if he'd since changed to 'skinhead chic' - it would make them look so 'last week'.

They are certainly not happy with him in L.A. as he returned from Croatia this week

he returned from Croatia this week

via London because the team flew out & back together. Then he flew to LA on the same plane as Chris Moyles if he can be believed

Apparently it meant at least 2 more days away from LA because he had to fly in to London so he could fly out & back with the squad even though he didn't spend time with them until they all met at the airport. All explained on Radio1 this morning

His carbon footprint must be approaching Madonna's  Could have been worse - he could have flown with 'XL' wearing a West Ham shirt  or even a XXL West Ham shirt
